Author’s Instructions for Final Manuscript Submissions
by 10th May 2026

Full papers should be submitted in standard IEEE double-column format for conferences. The first page of the paper, centred on the top below the top margin, should include the paper title, the authors’ names and their affiliations, an abstract, and keywords. Five to Six pages are allowed for each paper.

All authors who have been accepted must register in EDAS for the conference, and attend the conference to present their papers. Authors who do not attend the conference to present their papers, or do not arrange for a co-author or knowledgeable colleague to present their paper in the absence of the primary author, will not have their paper published per latest IEEE policy.

There are two required steps:

  • Payment Process
  • Uploading the final version of the manuscript

Note: We request all authors and interested SoSE2026 participants to update EDAS profile with their membership information, i.e.,  IEEE and/or INCOSE membership. This is needed to provide you with the appropriate registration category.

1) Payment process

Papers will be included in the proceedings only if at least one author has registered and paid the registration fee. Please check on  the  Conference Registration tab how many papers you are allowed to submit. For inclusion of additional papers (i.e. more than allowed per registration), the authors must register for an extra registration. Authors paying student registration fee will be limited to one paper only.

For payment, please go to the EDAS  Registration  page .

2 ) Uploading final version of the manuscript

2.1. Modify the final version of the manuscript according to the reviewers’ comments.

The final version of the paper in the IEEE conference format CANNOT EXCEED 8 PAGES. NO EXCEPTION IS ALLOWED. (100 € per additional page beyond 6 pages)

2.2. Generate the electronic version of the final manuscript using IEEE PDF express system.

From the final manuscript formatted as instructed, authors must generate the electronic FINAL version in PDF format. Regardless of its initial format, the file containing the final version of the paper must be transformed into PDF format and approved by the IEEE PDF express web tool (PDF files generated by means of other tools are not acceptable).

2.3. Submit IEEE eCopyright through EDAS.

You can only upload your final manuscript if you successfully made the payment AND signed the eCopyright form. In order to double check these, click on your paper title and review the details. Your paper should show the status “Registered and Paid” and your copyright form “Regular copyright, date signed” ( In EDAS click on your paper title and click the copyright icon).

The IEEE is enforcing strict copyright rules. For your convenience, the copyright is made available electronically through EDAS (please see the copyright column on the paper entry in your account).  Authors who are not authorized to sign a copyright transfer form, should download the paper version of a copyright transfer form, fill it in, and ask an authorized person to sign it. Then, send the completed form to the IEEE SoSE 2026 program co-chairs

2.4. Upload the electronic version of the final manuscript, through EDAS by May, 10th 2026

With your Xplore-generated PDF, log in at EDAS web site. In order to upload your final paper, click the final upload icon and proceed with the instructions.
