Instructions for presentations

Instructions for Oral Presentations: Each talk is 20 minutes: presentation + 3 to 5 minutes of discussion. Session chairs will keep strict time: do not overrun.

Each room has a laptop (Windows with PowerPoint and Acrobat) and LCD projector. Please bring your own USB flash drive for your presentation.

It is expected you arrive 15 minutes before the start of your session to introduce yourself to the chair and if necessary test your laptop connection. The session chair will introduce you by name and affiliation. Your 20 minute slot includes speaker transition, chair’s introduction, your talk and 3 to 5 minutes of questions.

Instructions for Poster Sessions: The poster boards provided are vertical rectangles and measure 2 meters in height and 1 meter in width. We recommend a standard A0 (841x1189mm)  portrait size.
Carefully prepare your poster well in advance of the conference. There will be no time or materials available for last minute preparations at the conference. If you think you may need certain materials to repair the poster after traveling, please bring them with you.

All posters will be on display for all three first days of the conference, June 19-21, 2018, in room 106 to give them as much exposure as possible. Two 90-minute sessions will be dedicated to poster presentations, on June 19 and June 20.
